Esperance Mukashema, a courageous Tutsi survivor of the Rwandan Genocide, sadly passed away in 2021. While her official cause of death is attributed to COVID-19, suspicions linger of potential links to the Kigali regime, which has been targeting its critics in diaspora. Mukashema’s unwavering commitment to truth, reconciliation, and justice earned her the mane “Mama Rwanda” and the Victoire Ingabire Peace Prize. She shed light on the crimes committed by General Paul Kagame’s (RPF). She also lost her 8-year-old son, Sheja, who, in 1994, was killed by Tutsi rebels alongside several Hutu clergymen.
